How
about following the African rhythms, dancing them, clicking them?
In an idyllic natural place, watching over volcanoes? In 2006 again,
African dance and percussion sessions will be on the programme during
a weekend at Auberge Les Liards. Marie-Hélène
will be your teacher for the dancing, Assane Kane for the percussion.
Together they will let you (re-)discover the African rhythms. The
dancing and percussion sessions will take place in the open air,
just like in Africa!

It might be possible that you want to organise
your own weekend with some friends / family or group of people.
You’re most welcome to do so, if you are at least 6 persons
participating. Please contact us for fixing a date and discussing
the organisation.

Programme for the two days:
9h30 – 12h30: dance
15h00 – 17h00: percussion
Prices :
For the dancing and percussion sessions: 70 euros per person for
the two days.
For only dancing or percussion: 40 euros per person for the two
days.
Full pension (two nights with breakfast, two lunches, two dinners
and sessions): 170 euros per person
Half pension (two nights with breakfast, two lunches and sessions):
140 euros per person
Full pension camping (two nights with breakfast, two lunches, two
dinner and sessions): 150 euros per person.

Drinks are not included in the prices (except with breakfast and
a welcome drink on Friday night). Prices are based on room sharing.
Number of persons :
Minimum 6, maximum 10. We reserve the right to cancel the weekend
if the minimal number of persons has not been reached.
About your teachers :
Assane Kane, from Sénégal, percussionist, specialist
of the Dum-Dum, member of the Guinean Ballet Batapon, organises
and leads training in traditional percussion of West Africa (Sabar,
Djembé, ...).
Marie-Hélène Kane, dancer and choreographer, has been
training people in African dance in the Auvergne for years, accompanied
by her percussionists. For her, it is all about passion, that she
wants to share with everybody (experienced or beginner) by using
the symbolic of the movements, improvising and creating.
