	There are four hiking trails starting at the guesthouse, from one to five hours long. A nice reason to stay with us for a (long) weekend or just some days. Information. And what about really feeling good: you can have relaxation or ayurvedic massage at our place. For more information .
	We continue to invest in green energies and economies. Most of our lightbulbs are now LED, we have changed into an energy provider with only green energy (enercoop) and we're trying to work out our other priorities (hot solar water for the next building, solar air, windmill...). A test for a windmill is running at this moment.

Guesthouse Auberge Les Liards is offering bed and breakfast (B&B), rooms, half board (half pension) or, occasionally, full board (full pension). You can also have dinner at our place even if you do not opt for half board. We serve mainly organic meals, with locally produced ingredients. We are happy to cater for vegetarians and vegans. Dinner on wednesday and sunday in the guesthouse is vegetarian, please tell us about your wishes for the other days. In the restaurant in July and August there are always vegetarian meals.
Guesthouse Auberge Les Liards is a green and ecofriendly place, with ecological management, organic and local food and fair trade products.
You can have a choice between being lodged in ecological rooms or in standard rooms, but with all you are assured to be comfortable and quiet. All of them have their private bathroom. Children are welcome, we have accessibility for disabled people and wheelchairs and animals are welcome as well (even horses).

The small inn Auberge Les Liards is situated in the natural regional parc of Livradois Forez, next to Sauxillanges, 18 km from the highway A75 and Issoire. The site is like a dream: on an old volcano, one has an almost 180° view over the volcanoes of the Auvergne; one is surrounded by nature, by calmness, by many farm animals. You can go for a hike, for a tour on bike or mountainbike, on horse, you can discover the region or just take it easy.
The sunset in summer is something not to be missed. Between mid July and mid August we organise concerts on Saturday and Sunday evenings. In July and August, one can also come and have dinner in our summer restaurant.
The guesthouse is an ideal place to stay with children. We are childfriendly, there is a lot of space, a playground, and, most important of all, we have many farm animals.

If you just want to pass by and see the place for yourself: the cafe is open on Sunday afternoons between 3th of May and 1st of November 2009. It is open every day except Monday during the months of July and August.

It is the perfect place if you come with children, if you would like to pass a nice time together, make a walk, do a game, relax on the lawn, or if you just want your family or friends to discover our beautiful place.
